The Twin Rivers Primitive Campsites are located within the Twin Rivers State Forest (Madison and Suwannee Counties), about 20 minutes west of Live Oak, FL. The campsites are located next to the Suwannee River and have the following facilities: campsites with no electricity or water. Recreational activities featured here are: fishing, hiking, hunting, canoeing, picnicking, bird watching, horseback riding, wildlife viewing and photography.
Twin Rivers State Forest has over 15,000 acres of woodlands, rivers, and springs spread across 15 noncontiguous tracts. Twin Rivers State Forest is along the banks of the Withlacoochee and Suwannee rivers. Clear running springs are located on the Anderson Springs and Pott Springs tracts.
